My heart goes out to you, my dear

As you will look ahead.

Some things may cause you now to fear

But please trust God instead.

When you give thought to what to do

Both now and later on,

Know that the Lord is there with you

To guide each decision.

The preparations are many

For you to be a bride.

It's best for you there aren't any

Surprises that may hide.

I trust these verses help you see

There's so much you can learn.

If you are ready you will be

Blessed with all you'll yearn.

Ask God to show on what to stand

And which way you're to go.

With perspective of His plan

His will you both can know.

Commit yourself to God right now

And willingly obey.

As you read His Word you'll see how

It is for you today.

In whom we have boldness and access with

confidence through faith in Him.

Ephesians 3:12

Father, may my life be an example of Your grace.

Amen.
