Flurries of feathers
blow with the wind
as I walk slowly through the dusky evening.
The sky like huge puffs of smoke
around the dark mountains
no sign of life.
Only the dark grey owl up
in the tree I see
perched on the branch so mysteriously.
Slowly, as I walk along
the slow moving wind pushes me on
flurries of feathers beseech to me
to carry me.
The half-moon is out now, the air so mystical
the night moves on, as I tread along
the winding road, to watch
sparking stars flicker,send magnets of
light to my body.
Moon now full, night is still, still.
the night reaches for me, enfolds me
entwines me, to claim me
this one mystical night.
the night, only for me.
