In my thoughts, I search myself.
This searching goes on a lot.
In that Egyptian prison,
Joseph must have done the same.
I've no answers concerning tomorrow.
Weighed down by the weight of questions,
is my very soul.
Questions about the story of my life.
In your presence Lord, anointing does break yokes.
This I can never forget as you've shown unto me.
The story of your life mate.
Are you bound by invisible chains?
Invisible chains of backwardness?
Invisible chains of uncontrollable poverty?
The chains of stagnation and marital breakdown?
The chains of sickness and paralysis?
The chains of death and even loneliness?
Happy tidings I bring to you.
And as I do, may those chains break!
Because in His PRESENCE,
anointing breaks the yoke!
Believe you may or not, TRUTH will always stand.

universal purpose for all suffering...I guess...but...as you've put
it soooo wonderfully in your outstanding poem....He has not
abandoned you/us/every human being...any more than He didn't
abandon Joseph....instead of grovelling in self-pity over difficulties...
....should remember God's care for the world/peoples...let Him see
and plane the future...that isn't possible to restricted human mind
to imagine...how good can come out of bad....how unfathomable
His ways!!!!!...and as the great Alexander Pope put it:
"Lulled in the countless chambers of the brain, our thoughts are linked
by many a hidden chain; awake but one, and in, what myriads rise!...."
Thank you for sharing your words of hope...trust...when others turn against
us...when we hear the line that put Joseph in prison..."lie with me"...we find
the strength....to say...noooooooo...and to act accordingly.....
