Gift of Christmas held

Something is wrong

Days play in games to stray

Now all is hidden

Love is pure in concessions given

Away in answers strong

Ghost stay

Mantle signs song

Love dies only as last fire

Looking past tree

Lights sparkle in tinsel glow

A fleeting of days

Love takes a reality in share

Snow dances free

As the embers in fire place

Work magic

Love plays the heart of pride

Dark of sky

Stars of light

Corn on string

Love comes and stays

Bending free

Warm breasts on chest

Of dreams working magic

Love fills dire to a brim

Day stays wine

Gives and takes

Passion as free

Love takes as it gives perfection

As time holding

Beauty kept in service

A perfection of need

Love pauses only to regain life

Animal desire passes

And slow pleasure continues

Long past the fade of dancing sparks

Love opens eyes to joy left dormant on a throne

Shadows mingle

Ghosts of past holiday bend into shallow hope

Gifts fill eyes as warm as the day coming

Love mixes with essence of body and soul

Self mixed in two beyond one

A comb and a watch chain

Love of soul shared from

Body to heart

There are many shades of love and you've captured them all in your poem. An interesting read.
