Shadows call in life as in sleep

There is an angel they say when you make the bay

Dreamers in one lot forgiven

Teams of the hold in evening bold

We drink to here after

A cup of friends in the mend

Of a river or tow gone to ransom

Voices you see in the eve of memory forgotten

As days go into you know

All the winter is golden

Trees of the seen like a sailors dream

Come be holding

Walk in shadows of ever hope in taking

A step into the well of never tell

She out in the evening talking

A cover night as arms hold tight

To memories of green grass growing

Hearts a fire in desire never a new voice calling

It’s clever it’s true that the view of youth is never ending

Sun to sunset as the day is requested in a warm bed staying

It was twelve bells as the last of the river came calling

And into hell of never tell we bore us child of loving

The angels they say it was his day as the wind and the water turned calm

In the eyes of love the last of the psalm was returning

Teams of the hold in evening bold

We drink to here after

A cup of friends mend

a river or tow gone to ransom

Voices you see in the eve of memory forgotten

An intricate story of life you tell, Walt. Memories returning to youth...then gone. Beautifully penned...and from the heart!
