It seems that night wind is lonely
The wilder of what and when
I wish and it is answered
Sleep is not a friend
Casper is singing
Wendy is playing outside
In a corner of living
I wonder when I died
.. And dreamer is not a dreamer
A child is a frequent friend
Not measured by rules
Not picked to play and fend
Always on the edge
Always chasing the dream
Like Casper and Wendy
The right side of every thing
The scene was in heaven
Some coins tossed to the floor
A make shift card game
Eyes a sleep at the wheel
Aces and faces
Nothing in harms way is real
.. And the night wind is still lonely
A kiss of hope in heart
Ghost of a chance
Feelings of love
Park bench and bottle
An't much but it is a start
She took him to the bedroom
Warmed his body then soul
Kept him in the shadows
So that no one would know
A child hood friend
Like the night
Now has a place to go
..and I whisper sweet nothings
walk the paths we know
stop by the park bench
I wonder
Where did our love go
The night wind is lonely
The bottle a true friend
An't it just like tomorrow
All things will end
Ah, Walter...I read sadness in this poem; yet it has the beauty of hope. We conquer that which dream on, my very good friend! So dream positivity :o)
