Both older than lace
Covered in the many lines
Story written to find

Lovers once
Word smiths in view
Age has not changed you
Still the beauty of time

Most of the friends and writers
Dead and gone
Each mental picture rung
A standing review
Smiles I have always loved you

Sunshine as dark as rain
Growing on my window pain
Still in quiet we write
Just another night

Bottle gone
Hat pulled low
Drip of life
