Blood
The dripping of my soul

Pleading for self, I am yet alone in my thoughts as the tears of my inner life cries for the help of the sane part of me, I weep in silent, as I shed the human side away, I cross paths with a stranger, words are not spoken, and I stare as to say who am I,

The peace in me floats Away, as does the drying up of my blood, my veins shrink into nothing

Grave yard image confronts me, as does the head stone, I read, to a loving wife and daughter, a friend that will all ways be, and I can not weep no tears to those words,

Always I repeat to myself as I search for heavens door,

Cry for me know more, as the image of me is not seen,

The mirage of my life is a view of long ago, of a time when the oceans breath, breathed for me, as I inhaled it salted air, and I am home, standing in my door way, knocking to be invited in, a howling when calls out my name, I turn to weep, the dripping of my blood,

I long to be held, to be thought of, to be warm, to have the human side of me cry, to say, to be,

Away I go, transforming words that have know meaning of a life that once was,

How long have I walked this earth, how long is a century, and how is it I have come to stand in my own shadow,
I stand to remember, a time that has my pictures on the wall, a room that is filled with my roaring laughter echo through the halls of a mansion, that once was,

Memories fade, as does the tears that dry themselves up along my cheeks and the blood of me speak, reading my story, to me, who am I,

The dark side feeds me, the other I do not know, as I walk in the shadows of a pleading soul,

Something ancient, a smell that haunts me, a odor of long ago drifts into my senses, a hunger grasp the animal in me, a creature of self, explodes,

The reason, the thought, the dripping of my blood, is not mines, but the animal in me, my true self,

I beg to be, to breath, the human side of me, whispering to a looking mirror,

As I walk away,

It says my name and an echo repeats it back,

I beg to be,
