A ship readied in the harbor--first line the-- skips are the pause
spaces shows where the notes are to raise or lower the tune
When I was young and so caring
looking for a woman for my wife
She would find the need for having children
children extension of her life
So when that we got married
everything went so very well
We farmed our life together
together and forever life will truly always tell
But jealousy can be a total down fall
until you know how harmful it can be
God is your only salvation
salvation in life then sets you free
So here we are still together
together with speed bumps and the falls
Respecting the religion and the mind sets
allowing you to stand so ever tall
Love is Gods forever a blessing
the one you chose to be your loving wife
Marriage is so beautiful so beautiful rewarding
rewarding to those who carry faith in life

Marriage is a wonderful thing most of the time. My wife and I just celebrated our 50th anniversary. But I would be lying if I told you the road has been sooth all the way. No, there have been bumps in the road. And sometimes bumps pop up without warning. The couple just has to work together to smooth it out. None of this one-sided stuff, with only one doing all the work. A team of oxen is not to be unequally yoked, and neither is a marriage. I want to spend the rest of my life with my wife, but I'm pretty certain both of us will get a little miffed from time to time. But that's all right, I suppose. By the way, Darryl, I enjoyed your song tremendously.
