A short poem about the gains of democracy.

The ballot box does my persistent fights convey, to restore what predatory lords did cart away; because I cast my vote for good governance to enjoy; that I may integrity in governance employ by firing evil men who human rights destroy.

Democracy is not perfect, but it is the best form of government so far. Sometimes, it is rather slow to fire evil men/women. Because evil seems to have some strange, perverse popularity. But I with you in trusting in my ballot to change things for the better.
