Bellisimo!! You obviously have passion with every word that you write. My favorite part of this poem are the words:
"You float above the fawning masses Who bathe in your brilliant light
But like a comet that quickly passes
All too soon you’re gone from sight. " You are sending a powerful message with so many spices!
There are many people in life who might not be genuine, or they lose their way as they get caught up with the attention, fame, or the "ardor" without loving others in a genuine way. Unfortunately, some people do not care about who they have hurt along the way.
This is a powerful message, and I will be tracking your work. I admire your writing style. Please stop by my den again sometime!

Yes, it is a shame that some feel themselves worthy of being
worshipped. We know the scriptures relating to this, do we not?
I won't even try to make a 'guess' at who you are referring to here,
but your poem makes some strong points, whoever it is directed at.

The tragedy of a falling star - masterly penned. Stars are people with a larger-than-life personality belonging to them and others. Whilst the image can be splendid, the real person's soul is dying behind a wall of glamour. Franz
