awww, this is as sweet as it gets, Michelle. If only we could learn to love as unconditionally and as completely as our pets, I think mankind would be in a position to change the world. Very nice poem and tribute to your wonderful friend.

Awww loved this write my friend, reminds me of my little friend Boomer, she too gives loads of love, meeting me at the door, lying next to my feet at night to keep them warm, she is loving and affectionate, and don't require much upkeep, a fresh bowl of water, two feedings a day, snack treats for good behavior, three baths a week, and lots of love...pets are great, you've penned it well my friend!

Michelle,
This touched my heart, for I also have a wonderful dog named Blackie. He's always there for me, no matter what my mood is, he doesn't care as long as Mommy is with him. I adore him. Love the pic too!!!!
