I walk toward you

I see only beauty

I feel only joy

I know only love

please don't teach me difference

please don't teach me regret

please don't teach me hate

as I laugh

as I run

I know only freedom

please don't teach me intolerance

as I smile

as I talk

I feel only happiness

I touch your hand

and I'm at home

everything within me

is begging you

to make me welcome

please don't hit me

please don't hurt

my fragile soul.

This one's not for kids. For kids to not ask those questions, they only remain open and accept what adults do and say without question. That is why all adults should read your poem before they begin the damage.
