I don’t know what you would call this, except totally BIZARRE!! I wrote it early New Year’s Day morning. …I was being my usual silly, goofy self and came up with this poem within a poem (and we didn’t even drink New Year’s Eve! …lol!). Just was having some fun writing and decided to share it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Beautiful Year It’s two thousand and five A great year to be alive (me thinks) New things for which to strive (me drinks to that) Not the time to take a dive (you sinks or go splat not too cool) Everything will not jive (it stinks so chew fat don’t be cruel give a smile) Hope that we all will contrive (no kinks give a pat live the golden rule change the style) Help spread happiness and cheer No more bitterness and fear Make it a beautiful year! Cynthia, it�s nice to see you dabbling in multi-form poetry. This piece is quite unique and yet, it still shows what is most important in it, and that being, looking towards a wonderful new year. Wonderful write. Thanks for sharing, my love.
