Plans: His Plan from Heaven for 07

I have plans, Lord;

Plans to do great wonders;

Plans to build for you;

Plans to make me rich.

You’ll be so very pleased, Lord.

Just look at all these plans!

The sky’s the only limit.

See what we can do!

What’s that you say, Lord?

Those are not your plans?

But, Lord, they are so lovely;

So worthy and so grand.

“See that sister, fallen by the way?”

She’s not in my plans, Lord.

I have a busy day.

Heaven’s plans include her?

I hear the baby crying,

But I have other plans.

I’d rather teach to thousands

Than hold his little hand.

Your plans are far more simple;

You want my heart and soul?

Your plans will bring no glory?

Your plans will bring no wealth?

You plan to build my life, Lord,

Into a sacrifice?

To be a small, sweet fragrance
