One It takes one thought to change the world One right to change a wrong One leader to make others follow It takes one baby to be a father One stone to make waves in the water One mistake that could change your life It takes one pad and pencil to create a masterpiece One sperm to fertilize an egg One seed to start a garden It takes one dream to inspire the masses One apple to spoil the bunch One step to start a journey It takes one woman to fall in love One kiss to set you free One step to destiny It takes one missile to start a war One baby step to start walking One breath away from life or death It takes one punch to start a fight One drink to make you drunk One smile to make someone�s day It takes one kill to make you a criminal One life to live One penny away from a dollar It takes one bullet to take a life One word to start a sentence One before you can even have two It takes one mistake to learn your lesson One teacher to change your life One truth to set you free It takes one person to capture your heart One time for first impressions One God to love us all And that is the power of One! A deeply moving meditation on a somewhat simple and yet very profound truth: all things, whether the best or the worst, have their beginnings in the thoughts and actions of the singular, thus endowing those thoughts and actions with much greater power than we generally recognize. A very thought-provoking poem.
