Ordinary Blues

Of stone
Reliving memories
Of why or
Where have you gone
Another day
Of ordinary blues
Of all the things
We thought
We should have done
We never will admit
What we couldn’t know
Another day
Of ordinary blues
And those that past us by
Are seldom strangers
Some from another life
Before we were living

Of ordinary blues
Beyond the questions why
Must we fail to see
If we choose
To think about
What used to be
Another day
