Abuse of children, women, the disabled, seniors and the minority is very widespread. Their weakness is taken advantage of. They are exploited and denied their rights.
Stop abuse of children for their innocence For them to be able to support renaissance

Being a survivor of abuse in many forms I want to thnak you for this poem and the voice for those abused. No one should ever be abused we were created to be loved not abused. Thank you Blessings, Joselyn
However, it is ironic that some of the 'minorities' who were designated victim status by academics have themselves become tyrannies of a sociological kind. Here in the UK for example, we have the tyranny of some animial 'rights' campaigners, anti-smoking lobby, anti-obese (relatively defined) lobby, disability activists,and 'green' activists etc etc etc.
Itallian communist, Gramsci's novel idea of treating all minorities including the majority on equal terms has led to the absurdity of a core minority (even one indivudual e.g. complaining about smoking in a Tom and Jerry cartoon which led to the scene being deleted) usurping the rights of the majority (all the other minorities included).
Yes, Abdullahi, we are all for helping the weak but we must guard against those who take advantage of the weak for their own unrepresentive ideological ends.
Continue to speak out; continue to be an advacate for change. Maybe if enough people hear our message, the abuse will stop. An excellent message in short poetic form; gets the message out there!
