As time went on, my managers got worse. The last one would hold a staff meeting once a week and then dictate to us what the president of the University wanted done. He squelched any discussion as though he didn't want anyone finding him out. Even sat in my office one day and declared, "I'm just a dumb Polack." Trying to explain why he was forcing me to do something illogical.

30 days before my announced retirement to human resources, he locked me out of my office… Fired me after 30 years of service. I heard recently that they came with the police and locked him out of his office the same way. Par for the course these days. Glad I'm retired

There are "Creative Managers" whose style of managing & supervising are so "Off Beat" to the point that they make their "Directives" so misguided that either nothing gets accomplished, "Everything" is in "Total Disarray" and they have "No Total Concept Of A Situation".
