Mom, you only get ONE!

I had it so good only a few short years ago. My mom was in her 90's and still going strong My mom's smile is like an angel. She had a heart of solid gold! She loved to cook and watch me eat! Her pancakes simply CANNOT be duplicated. She made them the same way every time I loved her special touch growing up. As for those pancakes... After I had 3 or 4... she waited to see if I wanted more. There is NO ONE quite like mom. She inspired me all of my life She was my cheerleader She was my mentor She was my best friend She was my inspiration Now she is my guardian angel She will be in my heart until the very end I will be missing her this May For very soon it will be Mother’s Day! It seems like we had time together forever... but that time is now our past It's yesterday’s treasures! Amen 5/1/2020

As I read, you could be writing about my mother, recently passed. But, being far away from her for so many years, I don't think I will feel the same on Mother's Day as you do. I will always remember my mother as the youngest mother and the most beautiful around. Her cooking always envied by the neighborhood kids.

Thanks for sharing this gem Moms are so special and touch our lives in so many good ways, I lost my mom in Dec, 2002 at age of 94. Her memories remain and the life lessons continue and are passed on.
