There Is A Battle

There is a battle

Here on Earth

Some ignore like cattle

Some of little worth

This is a battle for souls

Why would you take a chance

Ignore Heavenly tolls

Pierced by evil’s lance.

Fools think they can ignore

Never chose a side

Scripture they abhor

Life’s an easy ride.

God needs your help

Loved one’s need it too

Don’t be a little whelp

It’s your battle too.

Satan let’s you coast

When you don’t commit

You are his to roast

Without God’s permit.

That permit from His Son

With salvation you are assured

Your earthly battle won

With Heaven your reward.

So why take a chance

With your immortal soul

Avoid that evil lance

And let Jesus know.

Just pray the sinner’s prayer

And ask Him in your life

Let His Armor’s Holy layer

Protect you from all strife.

Yes it is time to pick a side

In God’s earthly battle

Calling Christians far and wide

No one wants to be like cattle.
