I’m Sorry

I haven’t written for a while
Work’s been hard and days been long
I always hope to make you smile
Life’s struggles make me strong

To those who read my work
I’m sorry for my absence
Didn’t really want to shirk
Have you missed my presence?

Here on this site I love
Where I lay my soul to pen
Life’s stories I have wove
A lot about way back when

A simple man that loves his work
At times I just get caught up in
Little time to pop a cork
Enjoy the wine of poems again.

Your reviews make me cry
Touch me in my heart
Knowing I’ve helped you by
Helped you make another start.

I’m helping people every day
In my life as I do here
I didn’t mean to stay away
Your in my heart so have no fear

I pray for God to bless us all
I write to help in some small way
To help you all stand up tall
My simple truths are here to stay.

Love your family with all your heart.
Be good to God He loves you too
I’ve missed you while apart
