Your Brain thinks one way and your heart feels another way.

I always write from the heart It's just the way I am My brain's another part Always full of spam. It seems a constant battle Between my Brain and Heart Causes my soul to rattle Thoughts torn apart My heart is full of Love While my Brain is full of thought Thanks to God above When this battles fought. The kingdom of Heaven is within you It dwells within your heart When thoughts overwhelm you The Heart is where you start. Luke

Love your poem, Larry. I can't seem to write from anywhere but the heart, unless I'm writing something silly.

There seems to be nothing religious about your good feelings. From your pictures I can see you have a permanent smile for everyone. There's nothing wrong with thinking while being happy. Optimism is what drives us all toward a better life.

Great poem! I think we all should write from our heart and soul. Forget about what the brain thinks. The thoughts from the brain can sometimes be misleading. The heart and soul know better, it's where our innermost goodness resides.
