It’s been to long

Since I’ve heard water’s song

So alone between walls

Behind a locked door

One late evening

Decided to take a walk

Didn’t intend to

Ended up along a shore

Found the perfect spot

To take a break

For the walk back

Watching the waves tease

Water’s edge

Looked across the miles  

Up in the sky

Sun going down

Moon taking it’s place

With a full blown smile

Is there a man in moon

Some say yes, some say it’s not so

Then why do I feel

So serene

In it’s soft gleaming beam

Transformed from all

Things bottled up

Dancing away

In moonlight’s glow

Sitting there, passing time away

World can you stand still

Secrets he already knew

Calm waves reaching

Taking away each unkind done to me

With invisible arms

Scooping them up

As they resisted in askew

No wonder the moon

Is so heavy

As he smiled, in silence

So innocent once again

till daylight’s break

fading in morning light

whispering, come back again

I’ll always be true

I’ll always be here for each

And everyone, especially
