Thoughts from the shadows
Secure in the shadows, My heart waits for you. A fire of yearning, A love that is true . Secure in the shadows, I whisper your name. I dream of our meeting, I call out in vain. Secure in the shadows, A life slowly fades. An person lays dying, Surrounded by shades. Our time is a shadow, We've only the now. Our moments are fleeting, Mere leaves on a bough. Take nothing for granted, And waste not your days. Then out of the shadows, Your life will send rays. You'll be inspiration, A bright shining guide. The next generation, Follows close by your side. Secure in the shadows, I ponder this thing. And patiently wait for, What the future will bring.

The words"take nothing for granted" is a valuable lesson for us all to remember. As we get busy with our lives, it is easy to lose sight of the important things in life. It is sometimes hard waiting to see what the future will bring, but as you write, you mention that you are "secure in the shadows." To me, this means that you are prepared to wait for the future, as you are secure with yourself. Stop into my den when you have a chance
