Cloaked in plumes silk Mortal briar roses he laid Tall instar he rode early one wintry nigh Plucked in thee setting sun She loved him so , tears lined the heavenly road Delicate fairy queen she cried Wings gauntlet, he wore Moonlit way to her spirit , the waned moon Unyielding grasp to the mortal soul Thy serpent bade his eyes Such creature in enchantment Teeth he feared his death She cried out in his dreams Struggling in mortal feat Heart of his flesh Season of the mist, her dance Primrose he carried, lavender scent Young man heeling the hoofs Dismounted to loves door

winged creature enchanted he goes off to help the heavens, he gets caught up he comes to human domain, he is in love but who he is challenging, he is in love

Micheel Schafer, It appears to be a poem about the love for a winged creature who goes off to war. He's a warrior who comes to her mortal door. That's how I read it. A pretty love poem.
