Read through some good work
Of a gifted young Poet,
She breathed life into old conflicts;
The true concern of all,
Called Battle of the Sexes.
We elders tend to forget,
The tragedy We all felt
When We were young;
Every moment life and death,
To gain the affection
Of Whoever stole Our heart.
Agony and turmoil
I can bide Goodby,
But the warmth of those days;
