The memory of the Holocaust must live on, an eternal flame that generation after generation reminds humanity to be on its guard against man's inhumanity to man.

I am haunted by the Holocaust

often, outrage at shrill death invades me, stained by being of the human race.

death by the pound by the meter in canyons and ravines

piled high. Life and death side by side and

smiling laughing dancing eating sleeping hugging loving (busy cities).

How are you, what plans do you have for the weekend? How is your wife? And the children, are they all right? Can you come to lunch on Saturday?

They closed their eyes at night before they slept without looking at the blood

and the bits of flesh in their hands.

Babi Yar was published in the 2003 issue of Writer's Journal under the writer's maiden name, Gloria Caballero

Yes, when I look back into the history books I have to question was it mass lunacy that could turn ordinary men into the barbaric and inhuman monsters that did the things that were done...just following orders cannot be enough of a justification...can it?
No...science may someday come up with the answer but I will never understand it. Good write Gloria.

Chronicles of the HEdge by Jeff Ovall

A true page-turner, Jeff Ovall’s futurist work of fiction peers into the history of a world not yet realized, yet ominously closer than most could imagine. A time in which the past has been reborn and humankind, in all its glory and misery, has final
