M e m o r i e s.. pop up when we least expect them.

 Memories ..

I never forgot.

Just buried the events

I loved the charm of that lovely old town

That gentle host seems now a ghost

A fading memory just out of date

Out of time

Out of this world

Out of bounds.

You had an Apple

I had a PC that much is true

So disconnection and disolvement was inevitable.

Yet somewhere here lies a vacant spot for a far off friend

Somewhere here a heart still beats

An imprint of that fading memory of an airborn journey

Accross an ocean

Across and over to a Cabbage town I once encountered

Never to return

Memories fade

Like fleeing fog

Something stirred in my soul

Something beckons me to flicker it onto paper

Now it is recorded in ink

Just in case one day I can't find those

Memories.

You never know when writing memories down one might strike gold. Future historians will search the net for real-life accounts from the experiences of real people that were "written down" whether by Apple or by PC, it didn't matter as long as it was placed on the worldwide net where it will live forever recaptured by the curious far into the future of the "way it used to be, first hand."
