It’s that time again! No time for mirth nor lament Another year useless spent Everywhere, dark and gloom Time has come to ponder doom Work your fingers to the bone Do some here then take some home No time to pause, no time to rest If you hope to pass the test Bust your stones Work real hard Maybe you’ll get A Christmas card Comes the word from up above Not a message of peace and love A merger has come to pass Out the door with your ass! No time to panic Nowhere to run Your usefulness Is all done Your dreams are smashed Your life they trashed Now on your own You are alone Why did this happen How can it be! Of everyone They pick on me! So it goes again and again Until wisdom finally sinks in It’s not you but they who lose They are stuck, you’re free to choose Dust yourself off Now gird your loins Into the battle You will join Money, jewels Silver, gold Upon your heart They have no hold Your goal simple Your conscious clear It is freedom You hold dear Your turn has come To smash and rend Bringing evil To an end Let no human Exploit another We are not slaves We are brothers A change of heart Is all it takes A paradise This world we’ll make No longer shall we slave and toil To make others rich in land and oil This world is ours for all to share Search your heart, have a care For once again it is the time For us to loose the word ‘mine’. you know this sounds a perfect place of which you write, wish we could just say, no you have too much already, give this to those who dont....but some hear some dont want to. We are all a little greedy if we admit it.
