The Ultimate in spiritual warfare for most...

My passion within Grows for you with each passing hour Seeking to fulfill your wildest dreams, Your deepest desires my mission to devour My heart has been caged so long Yearning to reach out and touch The one who holds the ultimate key To all that I am, whom I yearn for so much I don't know what to say Nor am I sure of what to do The magic of that moment seems so close But also so far away, the day I will finally taste you... I must admit that I’m constantly in a battle Do I please my flesh or God, this spiritual warfare You know my body craves you more each day But the love of my God carries greater care. This I must say to you, my dearest, That when I give of myself it is forever Don’t you see that I care for you so much I want to protect your soul, so fire will not destroy it ever? Can’t you see that if I can deprive myself of you The only man I truly crave more and more each day Once we are together as one, no other will ever touch That which belongs to you, whom I love in every way? It is simply not enough to love the man To whom I pledge my life to be my head But to love Christ, Who shall always be front and center And to Whom we both shall obey, and follow His mighty lead. © 2008, RM Green. In keeping God first is the proper order, but one can and many do also share a loving relationship with another. We give our lives to God, but we share love with all we know and meet. Very loving and endearing write with many wonderful sentiments....

RM It is so good to read you again! It's been to long!
This poem is so powerful in the ways of divine order,and it is perfectly perceived. It isn't easy for most to understand the spiritual warfare in this way, but when we do we have the burden and must find the strength we need. Prayer is a must to keep us true!Splendid !
