Another TOLT exercise. This was a study in syllabic blank verse on the subject of hygiene with a syllabic pattern 3,6,1,4,8,4,1,6,3. The more astute observer will see something particular about the pattern.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE
A clean bed
Is a hint of heaven
Or,
At least, cosy.
When I slip between smooth, fresh sheets
And nestle down
I
Am in my favourite place
For Sleeping.

When I wake
I am at peace, peaceful;
Yet
Ready to rise
And face whatever the world has
To offer me.
Not
Stressed or aching, not tired
But ALIVE!

Stephen Fry

Well... I guess I am NOT an astute observer! hee, hee, hee...
I can't figure out the particularness of the pattern, but I just made up a new word... particularness. :~)
Keep writing...

And the important part of course is to be alive, not just physically, but spiritually as well, nicely done....

Be always safe,

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
