Broken Dreams and Broken promises
Would someone tell me where the correlation of
Hard work to success went?
See these blood, sweat, and tears
That I've cried for so many Years
Has reached its limit and is ready to burst
There comes a point in time when you just need to
Satisfy your thirst
I've come a long way and so I know I can't turn back now
When I close my eyes, I can visualize the roaring crowd
But, I'm tired of walking
And I'm tired of running
My legs have been sprained
And my fingers can no longer absorb
The excruciating pain
Indeed they told me that this wasn't for the feign of heart
But, the end of this tunnel right now seems a world apart

Thrilling! what an awe-inspiring poem, it heals the soul, it fuel and instigate the heart to move on no matter the plight befalling one. I'm in love with your muse. It clearly signifies that it only transcend the physical to have a poetic mind. I really enjoyed your works.
