You ask, 'Should I continue to write?'
YES.
So what if no one reads what you pen.
So what if they tear down your dreams.
Don't write for THEM.
Write for YOU.
Because you can.
WRITE, ANYWAY.
You ask, 'Should I continue to cry?'
YES.
Tears are a healing balm.
They release stress.
They release pain.
They relieve sadness.
Tears are needed.
CRY, ANYWAY.
You ask, 'Should I continue to pray?'
YES.
How can God answer your prayers
if you don't ask?
How can He bring about miracles
if you don't seek His face?
He loves you, you know.
PRAY, ANYWAY.
You ask, 'Should I continue to love?'
YES.
A thousand times, YES.
There is hope in love.
There is beauty in love.
Look at your children:
They are the definition of 'love.'
LOVE, ANYWAY.
You ask, 'Should I continue to live?'
YES.
YES.
YES.
Things will get better some day.
When? I don't know.
But: hope lets ME live another day.
I believe that many of us have gone through situations like this, Karla. Hardly a day goes by that I don't pray to God, "Why not today, dear Lord? Why not today?" Very well written, my friend. God bless.
Stunning wisdom. Medical breakthroughs are happening daily.
Writing does need to be for self (cathartic) not an imaginary audience. Life turns on a dime.
