I sit and think about spring,

but I wonder why think when I can embrace.

I close my eyes and I can hear birds softly chirping,

I feel the gentle warmth of a new sun on my skin.

I can hear the soft laughter of children,

I hear wonder and make believe, I hear magic.

I feel the soft breeze, and hear newly grown leaves.

I can see the petals of flowers the trees once bore.

I hear dogs bark and see birds fly.

There is the soft scent of newly bloomed flowers.

There is new life all around, it is in the trees, the air, and soil.

I feel Spring here once again

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
