Conversing intently with no one,
Nobody there to listen?
Waiting again,
For a word from no one they say.
Listening then screaming back in anger at nobody.
Laughing at the Moon,
Staring at the sun.
Always talking to no one.
No one they say do they see,
But yet they are real to me.
I don’t know why,
They put me here.
The voices talking,
Are oh so clear.
I’m afraid that they finally,
Will have their way.
I know that I was never bad,
But still they say I’m very mad.
Assuming that this is personal, it's a great reveal. Writing about your fears is one way to overcome them. Just don't, "stare at the sun," too much, it's hard on the eyes. ;-)
I know "What you are", you are the poet that wrote this interesting bit of personal poetry...now don't ask me who you are...that would be harder or is it Hardester...? -e-
