This poem was created after breaking up with a lady, that capture my soul after seeing her eyes walking out of Walgreens one night. It was a very short relationship.
How do I make you feel? Is it in the way I touch you Is it in the way I smile at you? Or is it in the way I take you out for lunch How do I make you feel? Is it in the conversation we move in? Is it in the way you see me carry myself? Or is it my car you ride in. Tell me sister, how do I make you feel? When we kiss, do you think or do you feel? When I put my arms around you do you think or do you feel? Or is it because I call you just to say hi and talk business Tell me Boo, how do I make you feel? Do you move towards me because of what I can do for you? Or do you because of who I am? Do you turn you feeling on and off like a light switch Only to deny what you know you feel inside Tell me, pretty brown legs, how do I make you feel? Is your love only but a light switch..on and off..at any time Or is your love steady and sure.. Like the rain that comes down on a warm summers day Tell me Angel, how do I make you feel? Cause sister if I make you feel like a human being not a just another lady If I make you feel like a beautiful women and not a hoe Then yes..you know how I make you feel. Like a queen..because I am a King You see, when I first saw you, I wanted you, and I wanted your mind, body, and soul Your smile and your walk and the way you looked at me, Turned me on!! And sister, I can't and don't turn off and on like a light switch And yes, you made me feel like a King So tell me now my Queen, how do I make you feel?�
