You're really on to something here, Dale. I love this inverse perspective which excites and puzzles in equal measure. Masterfully captured and exquisitely imaged. All those lovely soft "oos" and "o" sounds, coupled with lots of "sses". Very womby and conveys the paradox of juxtaposed happy-sad, social-isolate well. Makes me think that we journey together and yet always alone - similar to the way in which we both enter and leave this mortal coil. xx Your "time in limbo" is the spirit's "motion capsule".
