backtrack into the surreal
fall or rise speechless

just hang on for the ride
high beams pierce the mind
thoughts are tattered and torn
pre-programmed to doubt
imperiling the journey
missing the scenery
sadly unable to paint it
An excellent title that illustrates the experience very effectively. Your word choice explores the difficulty of feeling helpless until we find the way to our own words again.
