I have always had a wandering heart
A mind that speculates
A soul that dreams
Two eyes that visualize the impossible

A tone that speaks to the injustice of humanity
A voice that both bellows and whimpers
Both of which are ferocious in intensity
And undying in the face of atrocity

I know how to live in both the light and the shadow
Blending and disappearing
Conspicuous and bold
The perfect mixture of seduction and restraint

I can inspire as well as devour
My words are more than the mere thoughts of mortal men
They transcend time and space
They will live much longer then my body

My words are the blood I have poured onto paper
The tears I’ve cried
The sweat of my labors
The secret yearnings of my heart

I weld a powerful sword
It cuts and wounds
Delights and entertains
Teaches lessons that will never be forgotten

May my heart always beat with desire and passion
May my mind always contemplate the possibilities of life
May my soul always dream in vivid color
And may my eyes always see what can be and not just what is directly in front of me
