author's notes: I saw a man walk across the street in front of my car, and for a brief moment, he resembled a lost love..It brought me back for an instant to that time and with that all those painful memories came flooding back, but in the end I knew it was best that we are not together and it made me glad to feel free once more...

To lose a loved one by death hurts, and you feel so alone but have to go on. This is a nice poem and really hit me in the heart. I am truly along and going on with my life reluctantly and could do better but thanks to your poems my days go by somehow.
Some memories are best left in the past!
But I know its very hard to think
that those times dint exist!
Just dream and look at what the future
Will bring!

Memories are made of???? As unpleasant as they are sometimes, they teach us many lessons that hopefully we'll never make the same mistake twice. Colorful picture and lovely poem.
As Fee says even a bad love has its moments for at one time it was a good and maybe even a great love that went sour.Just remember it is all a part of who you have become today Amber, a beautiful, caring person. Thank you for sharing.
It's like reliving the whole experience in a few moments. And yes, we usually know that it's a good thing we ended that relationship. Suddenly, it can make things even clearer.

Even a bad love has its moments and though they may not have been meant to be in reality, maybe a spark of what could have been will always linger in a heart, a reminder that love even though it can be painful at times is still a beuatiuful thing.

it is weird the number of people who look like other people and the way seeing them can really mess with your head/heart.
i loved a boy who ended his life. on the first year anniversary of his death i was invited to a going away party at work. i didnt know the person leaving but i went along thing it bettr to be around people that night than to be on my own. so i turn up at the party and i kid you not... the leaving guy, who was swiss, looked EXACTLY like the boy who ended his life... madness in a jar!
theres another guy who looks like ths boy too... he's a friend of a friend and for the longest time i refused to have anything to do with my friend incase he bought this other guy along...
i saw the other guy today while clothes shopping in town with my sister and i smiled and spoke to him as i would any other person in the world and i realised... my heart has healed... i still love and miss the boy who ended his life but my heart has healed and is allowing me to move on... its an interesting thing to realise...
thats a whole lot of rambling to tell you i know/understand/appreciate/like your piece a lot =)
