Seasonal Triumph
by Amber "V" Moonstone 6/21/15
Summer Solstice sneaking in
Cloudy weather trying to win,
sunshine lacking turning gray
seeking guidance on the way.
Floundering thoughts swimming upstream
managing sanity on the downstream.
Nibbling bait along the path,
awaiting Mother Nature's wrath.
No time for standing still
It is against her will.
Summer Solstice has arrived
bringing sunshine just behind
all those clouds of gray
welcoming this Solstice day!
Just as "Seasonal Triumph" shares a changing world with us, so too does it remind me of the triumph and the dawning of each new day. This simple little poem gave me a nice moment of enjoyment. Thank you, Amber.
