In a moment of weakness,
I think of reaching out to you.
I call out your name.
In a moment of weakness,
I cry sad tears, missing you.
Hoping somehow our paths would cross.
In a moment of weakness,
I think of us together.
I wonder if I was wrong.
In a moment of weakness,
I recall how you made me feel with your kisses.
Believing the lies you once said.
In a moment of weakness
I pull the pillow closer,
I hope you’d come back to me.
In a moment of weakness,
I ask myself,
did it really matter he was with her?
In a moment of weakness,
I forget all the pain and only think of the good.
I scold myself for letting you go.
In that moment of weakness,
All the terrible things you said and did,
are forgotten, forgiven and the door is open to you.
In that moment of weakness
I love you so much.
I yearn for your touch and want you back.
Then reality sets in... again.
