This was in remembrance of Pete Adamson, the father of my first love.

You left and it hurt me
I'm not your blood your friend or family and it hurt me
I know you had to hurt them; more than it hurt me
You left with the intent to hurt You hurt and that hurt me
Not what you expected I'm sure
You took from me a dream a future a fantasy A life I will never see
I wonder what you took from them
Did you know what all you took with you?
More than what you could have imagined or could have from me
Why did you go with out saying good-bye?
You left a note that you weren't satisfied
Well it left a void a burden of sorrow
When you turned your back and left it all
You did not stay another day To laugh, love, work or play
To see sunshine of tomorrow or find that peace at the close of a day
I can not understand why you would give it all up
Good times Good friends a laugh a kiss
Theses things I'm sure you'll miss
My heart is heavy with undue grief
Perhaps because your time seemed all to brief

Title worries me. That is if this is autobiographical, which I suspect it is. Get up and love again!! He (or she?) isn't worth the dirt beneath your shoes. Chalk it up to bad karma--or bad person--and thank your lucky stars you are free!! 's'my advice, an' I'm stickin' to it.
Love the passion and forthrightness in your work. Bet that such-and-so doesn't have your talent! xOx Pea xOx
