It’s the feeling you get when you see them smile,
The tears that come when they must leave.
It’s when you miss them so much,
That your heart bleeds, and breaks with grief.
The butterflies in your stomach,
Their picture in your brain.
You know you’re in it deep,
When these appear, with just a name.
It catches your heart,
And locks it up tight,
You cannot escape,
Though you try, with all your might.
It’s the strangest emotion you can possibly feel,
But when it’s over, the scars will heal.
This is one feeling you can’t live without,
Surely, you know what I’m talking about?
