Reading about Angels today brought this to my mind.

Poem Artwork

Who are you; Angel or demon, guardian or evil tearing through my mind?
Whispering within me your thoughts of what I should do next,
Myself am I, or darkness slithering silently through cracks of the universe?
Illusions easily mistaken for reality, when is the truth solid in my mind?
Angel of mercy with devil claws and tricks that redden Satan’s cheeks,
Where, is the security of knowing which angel is truly mine?
Ego in the disguise of knowledge coming from the heart I am to trust.
In Silence is a sound, a wave, a movement touching on my soul,
A soul that is whole no matter what I do or say in this moment,
Only man dares to say that it can be broken and blown away.
Who am I that questions what it is that I am, the ego or the heart?
Guardian or evil tearing through my mind, who are you, Angel or Demon?

I Love Love Love Dark Poetic Expressions! It's my favorite, and
you have penned an awesome poem here with so many perfectly
penned inquisitions...This is an awesome read!!

"cracks in the universe" brilliant!!
and this!!: "Angel of mercy with devil claws and tricks that redden Satan’s cheeks" this is like dark chocolate for me :)
...and "In Silence is a sound, a wave, a movement touching on my soul"

There is connectivity in the way this poem reads from line to line, like waves. I like the arrangement and length of these lines and the push-me-pull-you contents. Strong. ~~ Diana

Wow! You sure have an active mind. There aren't any devils, or ax.ngels for that matter, dancing around in my mind. Just wonderful thoughts about being alive and having such angels as the one I just wrote about taking care of me in this world with my mind clear to write the next great novel.

May your demons be banished and all your dreams be of angels.

Fortunately, the angels who have saved me time and time again (even from myself) have all been beneficial to me and I am grateful. Thank you, Kate. Love, peace, and best wishes to you,

We all face temptation in all guises as the devil has many tricks he plays on us.
