When you are happy,
you just get the thought of someone
before whom you could scream
he/she is a friend
When you are sad,
you just get the thought of someone
whom you can ask for support
he/she is a friend
When you are in need,
you just intend to look around for someone
who can lend the helping hand
he/she is a friend
When you have any secret,
you just get the thought of someone
in whose heart you can wrap it
he/she is a friend
When you have done any mistake
you just get the thought of someone
before whom you could confess and rectify
he/she is a friend
when you have any silly wish or a childish fascination
you just get the thought of someone
to whom you can whisper without any hesitation
he/she is a friend
when you lost confidence in yourself
you just get the thought of someone
who boosts up your morale
he/she is a friend
when you just think of someone
who can treat you the same way
in all seasons of life
he/she is a friend
when you are so emotional that you can't explain
you just think of someone who can feel it with you
sitting beside calm, gently pressing your palm
he/she is a friend
And Above All,
a Friend is he/she who adds
colour and flavour to our lives
infuse that courage and fervour
even from the distant miles.

A lovely poem and a lovely statement about friends. It is nice to have that true friend, one who does not judge you, but accepts you and loves you no matter what! You never know how or when you will meet a new friend.
