Water falls…

            emotion

     from a tiny stream

           BuBBling,

                  GurGlinG

                      swelling,

     ‘til it cascades down

to fall in puddles at my feet

          the angry roar

          of power surge

          before the water falls

   the crashing rush

      as water spills

in gushing torrent, sheer

                          rushing

                                 headlong

                                      down

                 through rocky            verdant greens

  and cool crystalline water bathes

  the pulsing tears away

       in peaceful waters calm

  where water falls serenely down

       from tiny stream above

to lie in puddles at my feet

My mind is going in a different direction of most of your readers here, Cryssa. I'm watching, feeling a torrent of tears from their beginning until the place where they are washed away. Either way, it's a vivid poem, to be savored and re-read.
Love,
Connie

Excellent picture portrait of the moods of water as it cascades over and through its varied environments and angles, Cryssa. You manage to change both pace and atmosphere with your clever layout and word-choices. You have definitely captured the vibrancy and taciturn nature of your subject here. It's as if your words enact the life of the cascades themselves. Very well done. xx

Water, in many parts of the world it is more precious than diamonds and gold, and yet, we treat it like it will never cease to freely fall...

The graphic form that you have chosen serves to emphasize your subject matter, Cryssa. Nicely done. Love and best wishes,

all kinds of water falling. I don't think there's a more relaxing sound on earth, though Enya comes pretty close. I love you, Sis. --Char

The power and the peace inherent in a water fall is brought to life in this well phrased poem. I enjoyed it a great deal. Bod Bless, J'nia <> <
