Goodbye Colin It was just like yesterday I grew up in your eyes With your Scottish accent I took pride in announcing you as Daddy! Your lovely gentle eyes Your kind sweet words Your tough working hands Your ever reassuring voice Your fatherly care, made me feel like a princess! I grew up calling you Daddy Mummy called you Honey My kids called you Papa Friends called you Charming Neighbors called you a true friend One day, a deadly tragedy struck Mum was taken away from us We mourned and grieved You never recovered from it! You put up a smile always, But your spirit was long gone Today, you joined your sweetheart The suffering was too much to bear I miss you terribly my Scottish Daddy, but I know your love has conquered!
