Just like buttons in a hole , fitted well into my soul . We threaded our lives as one . Buttons fell off you could say, but sewn on right away . Our garments shone in the sun . Well pressed buttons on the cuff. Like relationships and stuff , they get worn out in time . Once she was mine, so I thought button my lip as I ought , its now the end of the line . She knew what button to press and still I love her I guess , even after her loves's gone . Our buttons now are all odd , Is there a place for them God ? I'm hoping and holding on . �
